Lightning Ridge Opal Nobby Return Policy & Buying Guide
Opal nobbies are notoriously difficult to assess and cut. Even experienced cutters can find it challenging to determine whether a nobby will produce a stunning gem or ultimately grind away to sand. Because of this, we aim to price our opal nobbies in a way that fairly reflects both the risk and the potential reward, while still giving our customers the opportunity to uncover something truly special.
We do our best to accurately represent each stone through detailed photos and videos. However, we understand that assessing a nobby from images alone can be difficult. In many cases, a proper evaluation requires having the stone in hand and examining it with a gem torch to better understand its potential.
For this reason, we invite customers to make use of our return policy if, upon inspection, they decide a stone is not suitable for them. We are happy to accept returns provided the opal has not been altered in any way, including cutting, rubbing, tumbling, polishing, or any other form of modification.
Please note that all postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded.
